DoBeDo is based on the Deep Talk approach, which was originally conceived as a way of improving communication and solving problems amongst teams in different businesses in Finland. Deep Talk is now used in a wide range of sectors and its positive effect on wellbeing is currently being researched by four universities in Finland, Ireland and Namibia.
Kate and Kathryn wanted to encourage people to take that same atmosphere into all sorts of places and contexts, and so they founded DoBeDo. We want to collaborate and learn with others. DoBeDo is about coming together to share stories in a way that nurtures relationships, values playfulness and invites openness to change. It’s about trying to live this out in our lives and communities.
Co-founder of DoBeDo, mum of six home educated children, follower of Charlotte Mason’s educational philosophy.
